I know addiction, I know shame.
I know falling, and I know pain.
I know lost, and far away.
I know lies, and my own way.
I know just a little in this world.
I know just a little of this world.
So I dare not look, and see the scathing that’s surely in Your eyes. Surely in Your eyes.
And I dare not turn and hear Your judgment of my life… of my life.
What is this rising to cover me?
Grace floods the ground. Grace floods the ground.
What is this falling on my face?
Mercy rains down. Mercy rains down.
He won’t stop, calling for me.
He won’t stop, chasing after me.
He won’t stop, loving even me.
He won’t stop. He won’t stop.
I know dumb, when I should speak.
I know pride, rarely meek.
I know struggle with these things.
I know Your truth forever rings.
I know just a little in this world.
I know just a little of this world.
But He won’t stop, calling for me.
He won’t stop, chasing after me.
He won’t stop, loving even me.
He won’t stop. He won’t stop.
What is this rising to cover me?
Grace floods the ground. Grace floods the ground.
What is this falling on my face?
Mercy rains down. Mercy rains down.
What is this, that brings me to my knees
Love beyond degree. Love beyond degree.
Who is this, that brings me all of these?
Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ.
