Peace, peace, oh desperate one.
You’re sure you wrestle all alone.
But you’re surrounded by angels,
and The One who atoned,
and The Spirit who begs before The Throne…
…for…
…you, you, To the Father above,
who gave us His Son in perfect love.
Whose intentions are clear,
with His arms nailed wide,
He’d draw you near to His riven side…
…to…
…save, save, from all that you’ve done.
And all you’ve neglected under the sun.
Forgiveness of sins,
Transgressions removed
From darkness to light you would be moved…
…to…
…see, see, a Love that won’t die.
Greater things than meet the eye.
A God who watches,
and runs to you,
drenching your whole being through…
…with…
…grace, grace, for all that you’ve found.
And all you forget as you walk around,
surrounded by angels,
and The One who atoned,
and The Spirit who begs before The Throne…
…for…
…you, you. To the Father above.
For mercy and peace,
more grace and love.
Knowing your striving soon will cease.
Anxious for your soul’s sweet release.
And…
…peace, peace.
Peace, peace.
