Lost and broken.
Filthy rags for good.
My face I should hide.
I know I should.
But there’s something beaming.
As He reaches out to me.
Pure love redeeming.
This truth too much for me…
Heaven knows me.
Heaven knows me.
How much He loves me.
Heaven knows.
Troubled visions.
And unholy rest.
I should hide these things.
That would be best.
But there’s something gleaming.
His eyes don’t turn away.
My vile redeeming,
He does everyday.
Once in bondage, this captive freed.
Now new chains I make, to bind my soul to Thee.
A more perfect freedom, is what I see.
And in it all, this thought too much for me.
Heaven knows me, it’s amazing
Heaven knows me, it’s grace
Heaven knows me, In this truth
I raise my voice, my hands, my face.
Lost and broken, cast aside.
Found and whole, purified.
Beauty for ashes, joy for sorrow,
Heaven knows. Heaven knows.
I know lost and broken…
I know lost and broken…
He knows found and whole.
How He wants your soul.
Heaven knows.
