Drivin’ through Nashville,
checkin’ the time.
I see a city that loves a good rhyme.
And there’s more people here,
than I could ever see.
And I know forever is a long time to be.
So I’m prayin’ for you.
Prayin’ for you.
You who do good, may the Lord pull you through.
And you who do evil, won’t you please repent,
and find your forgiveness,
in this Jesus…
heaven sent.
Driving though your town,
seein’ the signs.
some live way down low
and some live way up high.
To me you all look different,
to Him we’re all the same.
So I’m praying for you all
in His holy name.
So I’m prayin’ for you.
Prayin’ for you.
You who do good, may the Lord pull you through.
And you who do evil, won’t you please repent,
and find your so much more,
in this Jesus…
heaven sent.
Every town is Nashville,
every need the same.
Every knee will bow,
at His holy name.
You are worth more to Him,
than I could ever see.
So I’m praying for you and I pray
you’re praying for me.
So I’m prayin’ for you.
Prayin’ for you.
You who do good, may the Lord pull you through.
And you who do evil, won’t you please repent,
and find your all in all,
in this Jesus…
heaven sent.
